Dr. Ramu Vuppala

Dr. Vuppala has more than two full decades of experience working in dentistry and takes great pride in guiding his patients’ still-developing smiles. Dr. Vuppala’s interest in oral healthcare likely began in his childhood. He was born and raised in India and spent a lot of time with his grandfather, who was a physician. This close bond sparked his early interest in creative, artistic, hands-on work in health care. He realized that dentistry blends these elements with science and technology, while allowing him to maintain a healthy work-life balance, making it an ideal career path.

Dr. Vuppala began his education at the University of Toledo, then graduated with his dental doctorate from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Since then, he has remained committed to continuing educational opportunities and has become certified in a variety of services, including laser dentistry, Invisalign, and level 2 sedation.

In addition to his formal training, Dr. Vuppala enjoys staying abreast of the latest technology and treatment options through active participation in prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

When he’s not in the office helping kids build strong teeth and gums, Dr. Vuppala enjoys spending time with his wife, who is a general dentist and also practices in the area. They have two beautiful children together and enjoy traveling or playing tennis for fun.
